ด้วย สสวท. ได้รับแจ้งว่า สถาบัน GSI, the German research center for heavy-ion physics จะทูลเกล้าฯ ถวายทุนภาคฤดูร้อนแด่สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดา ฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารีจำนวน 2 ทุน ในปี 2017 นี้ โดยจะอบรมระหว่างวันที่ 24 ก.ค. – 14 ก.ย. 2560 (8 สัปดาห์) คุณสมบัติของผู้ที่จะได้รับการพิจารณาคือ ผ่านการเรียน ป.ตรี ปีที่ 3 แล้ว (หากเรียนจบปริญญาตรีแล้ว ต้องกำลังจะเรียนต่อ (หรือเรียนต่อ) ระดับปริญญาโท ด้านฟิสิกส์ หรือสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้อง) เคยมีประสบการณ์การเรียนในวิชา nuclear physics, high energy physics, หรือ atomic physics ไม่เคยเป็นตัวแทนประเทศไทยไปอบรมภาคฤดูร้อนที่เซิร์น หรือ เดซี รายละเอียดการอบรม โปรดศึกษาได้จาก https://theory.gsi.de/stud-pro/ เพื่อเป็นโอกาสและประโยชน์ต่อนักเรียนทุน พสวท. สสวท. จึงขอความร่วมมือมายังท่าน เพื่อโปรดประชาสัมพันธ์หรือ พิจารณาคัดเลือกนักเรียนทุนที่มีคุณสมบัติดังกล่าวข้างต้นเข้ารับการสัมภาษณ์ โดยแจ้งมาที่ สสวท. ภายในวันศุกร์นี้ ทั้งนี้ ทางสถาบันกำหนดให้นักศึกษาที่จะเป็นผู้แทนประเทศไทยส่งใบสมัครภายในวันที่ 15 มีนาคม ​2560 ระยะเวลาการสัมภาษณ์ น่าจะไม่เกินเดือน ก.พ. 2560 นี้ หรืออย่างช้า ต้นเดือน มี.ค. 2560

General Information

Scope: Each participant joins one of the GSI research groups and works on a small project during the program. In addition a dedicated lecture series is held introducing the various research fields and applications at GSI. The program is complemented by introductory soft skills courses. Level: Advanced undergraduate level (3 rd to 5 th year of study, i.e. last year of Bachelor or during Master studies; PhD students are not eligible)

Duration: July 24 - September 14, 2017 (8 weeks)

Number of Participants: about 30 students

Accommodation and Reimbursement: Accommodation will be provided in a hotel close to GSI. A support towards travel expenses as well as a daily allowance will be covered

Qualification: Applicants should have completed the 3rd year of study as well as courses in one of the following three fields: nuclear physics, high energy physics, or atomic physics by the beginning of the program
